Dear Friends,

I am finished with the BSM program. I had finals earlier this week and yesterday we had the end of the semester party where we celebrated and drank champagne with our professors. We also got our transcripts and I ended up doing quite well! I am satisfied with how I did, but more importantly I am satisfied with what I learned. It definitely was very challenging and I learned a lot about some specific areas in Math. So now it is officially summer and I am enjoying my last few days in Budapest. I come home on Tuesday, but before then, I have a lot to do. The first day after finals, it was a very hot day, so I spent the afternoon at a water park on Margit Island and this morning I went to a Turkish bath. In short, it has been a very relaxing summer so far. I have done a lot of walking around the city too, so the waterpark and bath was a nice way to cool down.

Tonight Karl Gleason—a fellow Northfieldian and Ole who is studying in Sevilla—is visiting me for a few days. I haven’t been a tourist in awhile, so it will be fun to do that and to see him.

I still have to write about my adventures to Istanbul and Copenhagen and upload about 1000 pictures. I probably won’t have a chance to do that until I’m back in the US.

Anyway, I have a city to see.

Daniel
